The process begins with downloading the application to your smartphone, followed by customizing alert preferences and usage settings for effective card management.

Alerts Ensure Safe, Secure Card Usage

The application allows users to set up alerts for both PIN and signature transactions, ensuring that card activity is monitored and any unauthorized or fraudulent use is promptly detected. Users can receive notifications immediately after a transaction, including alerts for declined transactions, alongside a variety of additional customization options.

Location-Based Alerts and Controls

Utilizing your phone's GPS, the My Location control can restrict transactions to merchants within a designated range. Transactions attempted outside this specified area can be automatically declined. Furthermore, the My Region control allows users to define acceptable merchant locations by city, state, country, or zip code on an interactive map, enhancing security by preventing transactions outside a chosen region.

Usage Alerts and Controls

Card Sense also permits users to establish spending limits, rejecting transactions that exceed predetermined thresholds. Transactions can be monitored according to specific merchant categories such as gas stations, department stores, restaurants, entertainment venues, travel services, and grocery stores. Additionally, the app categorizes transactions based on types—including in-store purchases, e-commerce transactions, mail/phone orders, and ATM uses—providing granular oversight of spending habits.

Card On/Off Setting

The card feature can be toggled “on” or “off,” dictating whether transactions are authorized based on the user's settings. When the card is turned “off,” no purchases or withdrawals will be allowed until it is switched back to “on.” This functionality can effectively disable a lost or stolen card, thus preventing potential fraudulent activity.
